The summer season is drawing to end, which means that we will be seeing a lot more sales on outdoor items. Looking around at Costco’s selection, I spotted these commercial lights with 36 bulbs for $64.99. They’re not on sale per se, but the price is fabulous for these and you won’t find them for cheaper anywhere else. Shipping is free as well.
As soon as I spotted these lights at Costco for this price, I figured it had to be a steal of a deal and sure enough, there’s this review for them:
We bought these from the USA 2 years ago at more than twice the price. The bulbs alone would equal the entire cost if bought separately. They are standing up to the weather really well. Ideally, you should connect these to a dimmer. Also, be prepared to string aircraft type cable to suspend these for anything more than 6 or 8 feet. This is not difficult and the string has holes above the lights to help with this. Makes our garden sparkle at night!
The other 2 reviewers agreed that these lights easily go for double the price at other stores and gave them a 5/5 star rating across the board. If that’s not convincing enough, I don’t know what is!
They may be labelled as “commercial lightning” but this doesn’t mean that you can’t use them in your own backyard. In fact, that’s exactly what those reviewers said they did. If you or anyone you know is getting married any time soon or maybe next summer, then these could be perfect for an outside wedding as well.
The light string is 48 feet long, which equates to 14.63m and features 36 light bulbs spaced at 24″ apart from each other. The sockets are PVC formulated, which means that they form a water-tight seal to prevent rain or any other weather conditions from ruining them — just don’t leave them out in the winter!
If you need more lights than just 36 bulbs, then keep in mind that you can link up to 5 strings together.
