If you are looking for the perfect board game for rainy days in, long nights at the cottage or in your trailer, look no further than Monopoly. Toys R Us has a great deal on it right now, for only $11.97, with a regular price of $19.99.
Monopoly is the classic game that lives on and on. I played it as a child and my kids now play it. I really don’t go for all the deluxe versions of Monopoly as I think the classic game is perfect and why change something? It says you can play it from age 8 and up, but my younger sons have played it, they just get a little bit of help.
Just to give you a sense of the cost of this game at other stores, Chapters Indigo is having a sale on board games right now, but their sale price of $15.96 doesn’t cut it. Other than that, I’m not seeing it many other places, only the themed versions, which none are less than $12.
If you did want something more deluxe, the electronic banking version is also on sale for $14.97, with a regular price of $24.99.
Toys R Us has a ton of other board games that will keep your kids and your whole family busy when you need them to be. I recently bought my kids the game Perfection , which is the perfect one or two player game that keeps on going, and they don’t need your help to play it. It is a steal at only $5.97 with a regular price of $9.99, but they are out of stock. The cool thing is that you can get them to email you when it is available.
