So I was in the market for a new king size memory foam mattress. I have been watching sale prices at most major retailers and then came across the Lucid 12" Plush Memory Foam mattress on Amazon.ca
The problem with the King size was that the mattress was $499.99 but there was $300 shipping. All other sizes were free shipping including the California King. This did not make sense to me, so I called Amazon to inquire about my issue.
They told me there is nothing they could do, but that they had a "Used" one for sale. At the time that I purchased mine, the used one was $292.49.
I ordered it as they told me if I was not satisfied that I could return it and they would cover the return shipping.
It arrived yesterday as I used one day shipping with my prime account for $3.99.
The mattress is BRAND NEW still sealed in the package. The only issue was that the box looks like it was in WW3.
Opened it last night, very little smell. This morning it is the full 12" thickness and super comfortable. I was able to get the price difference refunded to my credit card.
