Definitely warm, if not quite hot. A good price for this machine - even though it goes on sale for 50% off once a month at the moment at a certain large stationary electronics retailer. Right now this is the best price out there, and a price match worked for me.
Paper is bundled at canon's site, but I preferred to grab it at a retailer and put some of the money saved to a 2 yr warranty.
Not sure how long stock will last on this one. Enjoy!
