There's a visually really nice new app called Tab Payments based in Toronto where you can check-in with friends, pay, and easily split bills at about 20 upscale restaurants. You can also leave whenever you want and not have to worry about waiting for the bill which I like!
As a promo with Uber, they are offering $20 off dinner at 3 restaurants in Toronto (they did Valdez last Wed)
