It's worth noting that this is actually listed as regular price at $2.99. This is an excellent deal for anyone looking for a Universal Remote to replace a lost TV remote, or to do as I was trying to do, get everything working off one remote. This remote is essentially identical to the remote that Eastlink (Cable Company) is distributing here in Atlantic Canada, and is also commonly used by various other Cable companies throughout North America. These remotes sell for $20+ at regular electronics outlets (more from your cable provider).
I bought one of these 2 weeks ago, and spent some time researching, and I was able to get this remote not only fully setup with my Samsung SmartTV, but also setup to control my ShawDirect HDDVR630 receiver (even the skip 30secs button). Instructions for ShawDirect posted below, for your viewing pleasure (and to allow you to avoid the headaches that I had trying to figure it out)
I went back the other day to the PrincessAuto in Dartmouth, and I noticed they'd restocked them, so I bought 3 more of them for spares. They still had 5 left at that point. They show as available online as well, so I assume these are regularly available nationwide. In my opinion, the only thing that this remote doesn't offer you over some much higher priced Logitech Harmony remotes is that it is an IR remote, not RF. Good luck!
Note: This is actually a 4-in-1 remote, not a 5-in-1 as reported on the website (AUX, VCR, TV, and CBL buttons)
