Not really a deal based on the pricing (ie. no discount! ) but IF you are looking for a Kaos trap crystal (unfortunately my 6 year old is) for christmas, I was told by EB Games that you can only get it through this "dark edition" version. EB Games in Van area apparently is all sold out of this package on first day of launch and we were able to find a few boxes left at Toys R Us.
