[Canadian Tire] Heritage Rock Non-Stick Fry Pan 12 inch $26.99 and more

RedFlagDeals.com Forums - Hot Deals http://ift.tt/1tU3aSk
I've posted this deal before, it's on again until next Thursday. The model names were changed from 30cm and 26cm to 12 inch and 10 inch, however I do believe this is just a naming change, the dimensions should be exactly the same.

Heritage Rock series are on sale at Canadian Tire for this flyer cycle. These are highly regarded fry pans and they are much better than the traditional Teflon pans. They are some of the best non-stick pans you can get in the market nowadays.

12 inch/30 cm fry pan is $26.99

10 inch/26 cm fry pan is $22.49

10 pc set is $149.99

Wal-mart had the lower-end Starfrit brand Rock pans for sale twice in September, the reviews were overwhelmingly positive. See the old threads 1 and 2.

Heritage and Starfrit are both brands from the same company -Atlantic Promotions Inc. Heritage Rock series are mainly for sale at Canadian Tire, whose regular price is significantly more expensive than the Starfrit Rock series sold at Wal-mart. As far as I can tell, the differences are

1) Starfrit has rubberized stainless steel handles while Heritage has pure stainless steel handles - this means only Heritage ones can go into the oven but the Starfrit ones can't

2) Size difference - Walmart has 2 sizes 9.69" (24.6cm) and 10.63" (27cm) while Canadian Tire has 26cm and 30cm

Starfrit Rock 9.69" (24.6cm) was on sale for $12.48, but the pan is significantly smaller than the Heritage Rock 30cm I got from Canadian Tire. (For those who are mathematically challenged, the surface area of a 30cm pan is about 1.5 times the surface area of a 24.6cm pan, which means you can cook 50% more food in it.)

Personally I think the 12 inch/30cm pan for $26.99 is the best deal, since it's the lowest price you can get for the largest pan from the Rock Series. For those who are interested, go check out these pans in person, they are "Rock" solid. I've gone through lots of pans myself and I highly recommend these.
