Hey guys - what with Air New Zealand's recent sale (which I unfortunately could not get in on this year), I thought I'd share an awesome gem with you guys.

This isn't so much a "sale" as it is a year-round thing, but for anyone going to New Zealand or Australia, and that is brave enough to rent a car, you should check this place out as they do rental car / camper van relocations (ie. Christchurch to Auckland, Melbourne to Sydney, etc) for $1 a day, plus fuel. The $1 a day deal runs for a set amount of days (anywhere from 3 to 10, it seems) and after that, if you need longer, you simply pay the normal rate... it might actually be cheaper than normal.
Anyway, I hope everyone that got in on that AirNZ deal checks this out... I did it a few years ago and it and it saved me a ton of cash... and for added adventure and savings, turn down the GPS they offer you... you're on an island anyway, just drive until you hit water and turn! Cheers!
