Hey there RFD
I recently got on a great program with Ontario Consumers Home Services, that provided me a brand new lennox furnace at no upfront cost to myself. It's a 10 year rent to own program and since the install about 2 months ago between gas and hydro I'm saving around 75$ on my bills and have cut my gas consumption to 1/3 of what it used to be. He gave me a free NEST thermostat as well (250$ retail).
The rental cost is 80$ per month so it's only costing me 5-10$ per month at the end of the day. This guy who visited me from Ontario Consumers got me on the Ontario Furnace Program after mine broke down recently and since I had no coverage on my old one I was screwed when it broke down. The new one came with a bumper to bumper warranty and free 24/7 coverage on parts so even though I'm out about 5-10$ per month, I'd say it's worth it considering all the benefits from having a new high efficiency furnace, I'm also expecting a 250$ rebate from the government for updating any day now.
I'd suggest giving this guy Cameron a call if you've been thinking about updating any of your HVAC equipment, as he walked me through entire process and explained everything very clearly and concisely, he even waived the installation costs for me. His number is 416 272 0517. I did get his permission to post his number here so feel free to give him a call or text for an appointment.
