Tangerine.ca, formerly ING, and currently owned by Scotia Bank $50 promo has been extended until March 31, 2015, New Clients only! For the people who don't know what this is, you will need to get a referral from an existing user, use their Orange Key, and when you sign up and deposit $100, you get a bonus $50.
The best part is the referral bonus they do. After you sign up, you can start referring people. Refer 3 people and you get an additional $100 bonus. I did this in about 30 minutes, signed up under my sister, referred my wife, cousin, and mom, free $300 + $50 for everyone else. You can have up to 50 referrals, and each one will yield $50, but the first 3 is the easiest at $250.
Here's the details for the referral bonus: http://ift.tt/1Ctq9Kd
The first $50 is for new clients only, but the $250 referral part, existing clients can do as well.
I was doing a bit more research and there are a few more benefits of Tangerine. You can get free email money transfers, a bit higher interest rate than most of the banks, and apparently you can call in to get better interest rates(YMMV)

Another $50 bonus if you want to do Payroll deposits. This one must be done by Jan. 1, 2015 though.

To deposit your initial $100, you can either use their app and write a cheque to yourself and upload the pic, or stop by one of their Tangerine Cafes. If you don't have a cheque, you can go to your bank and request one.
Feel free to post here or pm me if you need any help.
This forum does not allow posting or asking for referral links (orange keys in this case) in a forum post.
In short, you cannot post in a thread with your referral link, or say you have a referral link and people should PM you. If they are specifically looking for one, you also cannot post a message saying that you have it or you've sent one.
If someone reports you sending or asking for referrals, you'll be hit with an infraction and possible ban later on. Also keep it in mind sending out unsolicited referrals considered spam when reported.
To earn the Limited Time $50 Refer a Friend enrollment Bonus, new Clients must complete the following actions ("All Actions"): successfully open their first Tangerine Account, make a minimum deposit of $100 and enroll using a Refer a Friend Orange Key between September 1, 2014 and March 31, 2015 (the Offer Period). New Clients must never have had a Tangerine Account at any time.
