Frankly, it is almost cheaper for me to simply buy a new printer than it would be to replace my current ink cartridges. The HP Officejet 5740e comes with both a HP 62 Black Original Ink Cartridge, which costs $22.23 separately and a HP 62 Tri-color Original Ink Cartridge, which costs $28.32 separately. Essentially, you get $50 worth of ink and the printer is thrown in for an extra $10. Given the price of ink these days, this is an amazing deal as most of the price you pay is the value of the included ink cartridges.
