I purchased it when it was $35.00 USD and got it shipped to my PO address in U.S. (Ankers Direct did not ship to Canada).
Now anker Direct sells through Amazon.ca too but it's still $35.99 on Amazon.ca (http://ift.tt/UufTQf)
It charges iPad and other galaxy note devices just fine.
I highly recommend this charger and at this price this is no brainer.
